Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel Collaborates With POREFESSIONAL Indulgent Afternoon Tea Experience
Benefit’s the POREfessional franchise has been a global sensation for over a decade, with one unit of the iconic the POREfessional Face Primer sold every 13 seconds worldwide. Building on this success, Benefit recently launched two new additions to the range – the POREfessional Matte Primer and the POREfessional Power Powder. Designed to help achieve a pore-blurring, shine-free, and natural-matte look, these new products are especially perfect for Hong Kong’s humid climate. To celebrate the new product additions, Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel presents two elegant tea sets that feature Benefit’s signature aqua green and pink colours as well as dainty morsels inspired by the brand’s matte-focused POREfessional products.
Cucina
The tantalising afternoon tea at Cucina includes a selection of savoury and sweet delights that complement Benefit’s the POREfessional products. The tea set features the smoked salmon, gold, caviar and the mortadella and mascarpone cheese mousse, pistachio, both of which offer a fragrant and textural counterpoint to the tea set’s sweet offerings. Guests can add the dehydrated black truffle powder, a treat inspired by the superfine and silky soft texture of the POREfessional Power Powder, to the savoury delights to enhance the flavours.
From the sweet side, a must-try is the raspberry chocolate lipstick. With its rich and velvety chocolate, this decadent dessert takes inspiration from Benefit’s the POREfessional Matte Primer. The afternoon tea also features other sophisticated and indulgent treats, including a blueberry macaron, pink tiramisu, and the rose cheesecake.

Guests can pamper themselves with 12 savoury and sweet delicacies presented on a three-tiered stand at Lobby Lounge. On the savoury side, the smoked salmon, cream cheese, and caviar basket is a luxurious bite that reflects the pores-blurring benefits of the POREfessional Matte Primer. Another highlight is the Parma ham and melon with fig-lemon dressing, which is inspired by the fresh citrus scent of the POREfessional line. The tea set also features mouth-watering sweet creations, such as the pistachio white peach mousse and strawberry cream puff. Guests can also satisfy their sweet cravings with the raspberry lychee rose mousse and homemade madeleine to further elevate this gastronomic journey.
