Mr. Ray Dai is Beijing-born and spent many years in New York. He obtained his BA from the Hotel Institute Montreux in Switzerland and moved on to the University of South Carolina in the United States for a Master's Degree with a focus in hospitality management.
His hospitality career began in New York and continued in Dubai. He returned to Beijing in 2004 and started his career with international hotel brands including Hilton Beijing and Raffles Beijing for more than 15 years. At DoubleTree by Hilton Beijing he was the Director of Operations and in 2014, he successfully made the shift from Operations to become Commercial Director in 2015 under Sales & Marketing. He was subsequently promoted to General Manager in 2020 opening the 1st DoubleTree by Hilton Brand in Xi'an.
Before joining Marco Polo Parkside, Beijing, he held the position of Cluster General Manager of Beijing Sunworld Dynasty Hotel & Beijing Sunworld Hotel. He is a dedicated hotelier who has a solid grasp of the China business. Mr. Ray Dai blends astute industry knowledge with a strict demeanor and a passionate commitment to service quality. He will undoubtedly contribute significantly to Marco Polo Parkside, enhancing the Beijing hotel's standing as a city and industry leader.
In his free time, Mr. Ray Dai enjoys running and playing football and he is a big fan of Liverpool Football Club.
