Director of Sales and Marketing
Marco Polo Plaza, Cebu
Responsibility
- Develop the annual Business Plan aligned with the hotel's strategic objectives.
- Implement and manage strategies to achieve sales revenue targets and objectives.
- Enhance the hotel's reputation locally and in key feeder markets.
- Lead Sales, Events, Reservations, Communications, and Digital Marketing teams.
- Oversee human resources functions, including staff selection, training, and performance management.
- Ensure advertising materials and sales collaterals align with the hotel's brand identity.
- Coordinate trade shows and sales trips to meet objectives.
- Drive direct sales and manage commission costs effectively.
- Support RB&E in improving overall marketing and sales revenue.
- Maintain communication with WHM VP Sales & Marketing and Directors.
- Foster relationships with airlines, travel agents, tourism boards, and the business community.
- Handle ad hoc duties and special projects as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications
- Education: University graduate
- Certification: Hotel management related
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years' relevant experience in Sales & Marketing at global luxury hotels, including 2 years at the Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM) level. International experience is advantageous
