Events Executive

Responsibility

• To achieve set targets for your accounts.
• Solicit new accounts for future business
• Invite clients for venue inspection and recommend appropriate set up.
• Obtains feedback from the organizer and follows through with the necessary actions.
• Liaises with clients on finalizing details and gives professional advise on set-up and planning of functions.
• Ensures effective communication with meeting planner/clients by replying within 24 hours.
• Responsible for the dissemination of Events functions’ related information to other departments e.g. issues Banquet Event Orders at least 4 days prior to the 1st arrival and attends daily briefings with concerned departments.
• Maintains a close co-ordination with concerned departments on the organizer’s requirements
• Maximizes utilization of function room space.
• Maximizes up selling opportunities whenever possible.
• Maintains a high level of exposure for the hotel in major market areas through direct sales, telephone, fax and written communications. 
• Prepares quotations, proposals and Letters of Agreement.
• Follows through from enquiry until departure for all local events functions such as weddings, annual parties and corporate meetings.
• Sends Thank You letter and Post-Function Critique to the meeting planner.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience.
