Guest Relations Officer

Marco Polo Xiamen

Responsibility

  • Attend to all VIP guests which include room assignment, room check, amenities requisition, registration card printing, room key issuing, stand-by for guest arrival, registration and escorting guest to the room
  • Attend to all guests in the hotel lobby to create a warm and friendly ambience, obtaining feedback of hotel services from guests
  • Assist the lobby counters during heavy check-in or check-out periods to ensure all guests are attended to promptly, possessing full knowledge of Concierge and Front Desk operations
  • Stand-in for Continental Club Floor during meal breaks and mans Duty Manager's desk during their absence from the hotel lobby
  • Monitor daily guest departures ensuring all extension of stays are supported by either credit card pre-authorisation or further deposit collected from guest

Qualifications

  • High School degree or above
  • Minimum 1 year Front Office experience in an international hotel in a supervisory position
  • Good oral and written English proficiency, any additional language proficiency would be advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate with all levels
  • Possess analytical and problem solving abilities
