For the second course, Chef Andrea makes a stop in Tuscany with the Tagliatelle and Chicken Liver, Onions, Tomato Sauce, Parmesan Cheese. Chicken liver is a popular ingredient in Tuscany, and by pairing it with onions, herbs and tomato sauce, Chef Andrea creates a harmonious mix of sweet and robust flavours that is a true delight for the taste buds.
Gastronomes will then continue their culinary journey to Lazio with the Stewed Ox Tail in 'Vaccinara' Style, Tomato Sauce, Mashed Potatoes. Chef Andrea draws inspiration from Rome for this dish, which is a true indulgence for the senses. Boasting the smooth and rich aromas of red wine, the ox tail is slow-cooked for four hours at 150 degrees, resulting in a juicy and tender texture that melts in the mouth. Every bite is pure bliss, making this dish a must-try for anyone looking to explore the unparalleled richness of Lazio’s gastronomic heritage.
The feast ends with a taste of Marche with the smooth and creamy Italian Trifle, Custard, Lady Fingers, Cocoa Powder and Alchermes. This layered dessert is a scrumptious delight for those with a sweet tooth. A touch of alchermes adds a kick to the dessert, creating a unique and unforgettable taste. A unique combination of flavours and textures, this trifle is Chef Andrea’s personal favourite and is sure to delight guests.
