Wuhan, China, 25 May 2024 — On the delightful evening of May 25, Marco Polo Wuhan revealed its exquisite Cui Xiang Chinese Restaurant. The newly appointed Chinese Executive Chef, Nick Huang, proudly presented a selection of meticulously curated signature dishes and cordially invited guests to savour an evening of culinary delight and camaraderie.Cui Xiang Chinese Restaurant offers Cantonese and local dishes made from fresh seasonal ingredients, paired with Chinese rice wine. The spacious dining area is adorned with Chinese palace lamps and can accommodate 88 guests, with three tastefully decorated private rooms available. Refined Cantonese and Hubei cuisine are served for lunch and dinner.
Nick Huang, from Zhanjiang in Guangdong Province, has been passionate about gourmet cooking since childhood. With almost 30 years of experience in the catering industry, his work has taken him to various cities including Shenzhen, Foshan, Wuhan, and Xi'an. He has worked in many well-known hotel brands and has absorbed a variety of cooking techniques. By integrating old and new methods, he has created delicious and authentic Cantonese cuisine, offering a unique dining experience for both locals and tourists.
Slow cooked beef with kumquat and tangerine peel
After carefully selecting prime Scottish Angus beef, it is subjected to a slow, meticulous 3-hour simmering process, resulting in meat that is exceptionally tender, incredibly juicy, and bursting with delicious flavor. Grilled shrimp with Durian
