Indochinensis, affectionately known as the Old and Valuable Tree (O.V.T.), which graces the front yard of this iconic establishment. To honor this yearly spectacle of natural grandeur, the hotel takes pleasure in offering a range of immersive experiences and exciting activities that commemorate the blossoming of these magnificent tree.

“Serenade of Cassia Petals” Decoration at Garden Floor  
In celebration of the enchanting blossom season, The Murray, Hong Kong has transformed the outdoor area of the UG floor into a mesmerizing display known as "Cassia Petal Serenade." This exquisite decoration showcases the ethereal beauty of Cassia Javanica var. Indochinensis, with its delicate white and pink petals creating a breathtaking spectacle that extends to the treetops and graces "The Arches." The pedestrian bridge connecting the hotel to the legendary tree will be adorned with a delightful pink petal decoration, immersing guests in a dreamy atmosphere that blends the blooming Cassia flowers with the hotel's historic façade.

To further enhance the vibrancy of the blooming tree, various limited-time decorations will be scattered around the Cassia tree. Guests will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the naturally romantic ambiance and capture unforgettable photos amidst the embellishments, which include charming pink phone booths, whimsical mailboxes, vintage bicycles, inviting benches, and eye-catching street signs. These picturesque spots offer a multitude of angles for social media check-ins, ensuring a memorable and shareable experience.

The captivating Cassia Petal Serenade decoration will be on display from 22 April to 31 May, 2024.

“IPSA Flower Blossom Afternoon Tea” at Garden Lounge
Garden Lounge has joined hands with the prestigious Japanese beauty brand IPSA to present the “IPSA Flower Blossom Afternoon Tea”. In addition, the renowned Italian gelato brand Venchi is offering an exclusive light-pink gelato in Rose Raspberry flavor. These delightful offerings will be available from April 22 to June 30, 2024, to complement the exquisite pink decorations at outdoor area at the UG Level.

Guests will have the opportunity to indulge their taste buds and feast their eyes on the afternoon tea delicacies inspired by the 17-metre-tall monumental tree with pink and white pendulous blooms in the tranquility of indoor and outdoor space of Garden Lounge.  The afternoon tea also features the unique essence of IPSA Bounce Intense Cream’ s “Double Collagen” formula, creating delicacies including the Ponzu Dashi Jelly, Mizu Shingen Mochi with Sakura and Yuzu Mochi Tart in the menu, to have both tasty and bouncy experience to skin and within, the afternoon tea is also a concerto of spring fruits and Japanese seasonal ingredients presented in both appealing savoury and sweet creations. 

The sensual journey begins with a welcome treat – Japanese Sweet Corn Warm Pie, a flaky crust filled with warm cream of sweet corn, topped with dried sakura fish flakes, adding a hint of umami to the pie.

The series of savoury delights which are inspired by IPSA’s brand origin, Japan, commences with Hokkaido Wasabi Crabmeat Mini Bun with Tobiko, an appetising treat with fresh crab meat in teasing flavours of wasabi is wrapped in a soft pink bun, topped with tobiko for surprising freshness. The Tamagoyaki with Mozzarella Mini Sando and Ikura presents a fluffy and sweet-savoury Japanese omelette in soft milky bread adorned with Ikura. Caviar & Cray Fish with Buffalo Brie Tart features succulent cray fish in creamy buffalo brie sauce over a crunchy tart base and garnished with caviar for an ocean-sweet sensation. Japanese Abalone Isoyaki with Ponzu Dashi Jelly is an exquisite delicacy with traditional isoyaki-style cooked abalone complemented by a refreshing and citrusy ponzu dashi jelly with a puff pastry to create a unique culinary treat. 
Bloom arrives with the collection of exquisite sweet treats such as the Mizu Shingen Mochi with Sakura, also known as raindrop cake, an iconic and elegant Japanese treat with a touch of pink from the sakura petals glowing through the transparent dessert like dewdrops in spring. The fruity Amanatsu Mikan White Chocolate Mousse with Sable offers a magnitude of flavours with refreshing mandarin jelly, creamy white chocolate mousse and buttery Sable to create a naturally tangy note that will satisfy discerning taste buds. The Japanese Strawberry and Sakura Ganache Cake is a take on the classic ganache, with layers of chocolate truffle, strawberry jam and sponge cake intertwining with each other, coated in a crust of ruby chocolate. In the Mini Yuzu Mochi Tart, the luscious citrusy yuzu cream is filled with chewy mochi leaving sweet lovers yearning for more. Hojicha Scones & Vanilla Scones are the must-have in an afternoon tea. Guests can enjoy them to their liking with the trio of Strawberry Jam, Lemon Curd and Clotted Cream. 
 
Upon any patronage of the IPSA Flower Blossom Afternoon Tea from 22 April to 30 June 2024, guests can receive an exclusive gift “Double Collagen Bouncy Recipe” (valued at HKD150), including Bounce Intense Cream 4g, Luminizing Clay 15g, Metabolizer 4ml alongside Silk Cotton and complementary IPSALYZER skin analysis at IPSA, on a first-come first-served basis.
