Hong Kong SAR, China, 10 September 2024 – Presenting an unrivalled steakhouse flair complete with open kitchen and a vast selection of cuts from across the globe. The Tai Pan at The Murray, Hong Kong is excited to launch a new à la carte menu offering a range of fine cuts around the world and chargrilled steakhouse classics. 

The Tai Pan’s new à la carte menu highlights on top-quality beef around the world, featuring carefully selected beef cuts from Italy, Korea, Japan, Australia, Spain and the USA, aiming to provide our patrons with unparalleled variety and a distinctive experience. The 21-Day Dry Aged Italian Carima Fiorentina guarantees an unwavering quality and uniformity, offering exceptional juiciness, tenderness, texture, and nutty flavour. Korean Hanwoo Striploin offers a distinctive buttery flavour from its well-marbled cut with a good balance of fat and meat. For guests who desire a delicate and tender texture, indulge in the Japanese Kagoshima Striploin, which is finely textured and well marbleized. Diners are also encouraged to top-up for a Surf-and-Turf option including Seared Foie Gras, Grilled Giant Prawn and the branded Murray Caviar.

Guests can also look forward to a series of exquisite starters such as the classic Tai Pan Caesar Salad with Grilled Half Boston Lobster and the signature Crab Cake curated with slices of Alaskan Lump Crab with an aromatic Romesco sauce. The Tai Pan also introduces an exquisite Tableside Steak Tartare experience, guests can watch in awe as the restaurant team member arrives at your table with a cart laden with the finest ingredients. Top-notch quality of ground beef is complemented with a medley of seasonings and garnishes such as fresh shallots, chives, capers, anchovies and more to be mixed in at your own preferences. 

Weekend Steakhouse Brunch at The Tai Pan
During weekends, The Tai Pan unveils an indulgent Weekend Steakhouse Brunch like none other. Revel in a lavish spread of culinary delights crafted to celebrate The Tai Pan's spirit of conviviality. The gastronomic adventure begins with a sumptuous Seafood on Ice buffet and an array of sharing starters served a la minute including house signatures like Hand-cut Beef Tartare, Classic Caesar Salad, Crab Cake and more. Choose from a selection of charcoal grilled main courses from the sea and land, as well as the Curated Beef Selection featuring various cuts and origins, followed by a decadent dessert of your choice. For guests who prefer a bubblier dining journey, they can pair the brunch with free-flowing R de Ruinart Brut Champagne or B&G Sparkling Blanc de Blancs as well as unlimited Sommelier’s red and white wine, beers, soft drinks, juice and coffee or tea for 2 hours.
