The sensual journey begins with a welcome treat – Truffle Egg on Egg. The mini warm quiche is infused with a layer of egg pudding, topped with smashed egg whites and a sprinkling of freshly grated black truffle.
The series of savoury delights showcase an array of premium seafood sourced from the Scandinavian region, including Finnish Haddock, Norwegian Smoked Salmon and Herring Roe, embodying the essence of Nordic cuisine: fresh, simple yet sophisticated. The Dill Crayfish & Pressed Cucumber in Waffle presents succulent crayfish in dill seasoning, served in a crispy waffle cup made with beetroot and embellished with Swedish-style pickled cucumber, which offers a refreshing flavor to delight the taste buds. Norwegian Smoked Salmon Cube with Chive Crème Fraîche and Caviar features a thick slice of Norwegian smoked salmon, complemented by a hint of chive crème fraîche and garnished with Amur Caviar, exuding an exquisite of elegance. The Finnish Haddock with Herring Roe on Blini undergoes an overnight smoking process, the firm and succulent textures of haddock are elevated with herring roes, transporting you to the vast oceanic landscapes of Scandinavia through every bite. The Foie Gras on brioche toast with Mango & Balsamic Jelly combines the aroma of foie gras terrine and refreshing mango jelly, balanced with a subtle acidity from the balsamic jelly, offering an unforgettable sensation to the taste buds.
The collection of exquisite sweet treats are curated with inspiration of Marimekko’s vibrant colours, including the Orange Chocolate Dome, featuring 64% dark chocolate mousse with tangy orange zest, offers a delicate flavor that complements well with the chocolate biscuit. The Guava Mango Mousse Cake is presented in an eye-catching red colour, the refreshing sweetness of guava blends well with the silky mango mousse that will leave guests in awe. The Vanilla Summer Berries Tart showcases a medley of Nordic berries, such as blueberries, cranberries and black currants, slow-cooked into a velvety berries compote, encased in a chocolate wrap that tops with silky vanilla crème. Savour the Pistachio Crème Cake with pistachio butter cake, pistachio crème and topped with crushed pistachios, each bite is a unique blend of aromatic and nutty delight.
The “UNIKKO Forever” Afternoon Tea also comes with Chocolate Chip Scone and Cranberry Scone; guests can enjoy them to their liking with the trio of Strawberry Jam, Dark Chocolate Sauce and Clotted Cream as well as pairing with their own choice of JING teas, Saicho sparkling tea or sparkling wine.
